Residential
Not so Big House
Situated in a local’s neighborhood near the ski mountain, this home has a stellar location, adjacent to a large park. As empty nesters, these clients chose to build just the square footage they needed while focusing on crafting every space with a high level of detail. The open concept plan on the main floor was a key area of focus. While fairly compact, thoughtful space planning details give it the ability to “live large” on occasions when the home is filled with family and friends. In fact, for their first Thanksgiving, the clients were able to host 16 comfortably!
Hand painted wallcovering provides a back drop for a cozy seating area near a steel clad fireplace. The wood and metal “cloud” organizes the multiple elements of the kitchen. A custom bunk bed with wrap around stairs makes the most out of a small bedroom providing the perfect spot for grandkids.
